Solomonic Modules
The Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) Module

You are now able to track newly filed CAT claims and ongoing court proceedings. This module provides a fresh oversight into competition matters, enabling you to stay on top of developments in the CAT and to harness intelligence. The Court of Appeal (CoA) Module
Built in collaboration with expert insights from global disputes powerhouse Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, Solomonic users can now track, monitor and research Court of Appeal decisions since 2014 covering the commercial High court, with judicial insights drawn from over 1,000 appeal judgments. Our Court of Appeal module helps you follow a dispute beyond first instance, all the way through to permission to appeal, the appeal itself and final resolution. It removes the need to manually monitor Case Tracker and gives you reliable updates, research tools and analytics tools in one place.
Key features of Solomonic’s CoA module include:
Track appeal developments: Receive alerts when appeals are filed and follow their progress through the Court of Appeal
Gain appeal-level market intelligence: See appeal outcomes, including upheld and overturned decisions, reflected directly within originating claim timelines, offering insight into how disputes play out beyond first instance.
Conduct deeper, more targeted research: Search and analyse over a thousand judgments by party, topic, judge, legal issue and more - making it easier to stay informed and investigate historic patterns.

The Insolvency Module
The Insolvency Module was developed earlier on in Solomonic’s journey. During its development, we recognised that the Insolvency Court operates differently from other courts - it is not a dispute court. Insolvency matters are distinct from typical litigation as most actions are procedural in nature (e.g., winding up petitions) and are often unopposed. As a result, the traditional litigation lifecycle does not apply.
To reflect this, Solomonic presents insolvency claims differently from standard litigation claims, allowing us to more accurately represent the progression and context of insolvency proceedings.
While documentation available from the Insolvency Court is often limited, Solomonic enables you to:
Track insolvency actions by type or party name
Analyse trends and activity within the Insolvency Court
Identify which insolvency practitioners instruct particular law firms, helping to uncover business development opportunities
Access data on experts involved inc restructuring matters, allowing you to analyse their involvement, build subject-matter expertise and identify potential collaborators.
