Who’s in court and who’s winning work?
View a list of all the parties we have on the platform by navigating to our Parties listing page. You will see a list of all parties we have data on, ordered by volume of claims. You can see how many ongoing claims each party has, and how often they’ve acted as claimants versus defendants. Spot sector trends by using the sector filter to see which parties in a particular sector are most active in High Court Litigation.
Click on ‘All filters’ to further narrow down your party search to whatever is relevant to you and export the data by clicking on ‘Download’ in the top right-hand corner.
Similarly, see who’s winning litigation work by looking at our Law firms listing page.
If a party is not on our platform, it is because they have not yet been in any High Court disputes since 2014. There will be some parties that are listed on our platform who have not had any activity in the High Courts since 2014 but we added them manually for our users to preemptively track. You can now also proactively create alerts for parties that have not yet been listed on our platform by using our free text alerts functionality.
Get insights on parties and law firms
Find out more about your clients, prospects, counterparts by exploring our party and law firm data.
On each party and law firm landing page, there is a dashboard that summarises the key details and metrics for the entity. This includes how often they are claimant versus defendant and their outcome tendency. You can also view their relationship and historic outcomes by clicking on the dropdown next to the party name, and selecting ‘Outcomes’ or ‘Relationships’ from the dropdown.
On the outcomes page, you will see all historic outcomes from the party/law firm’s concluded claims - giving you an indication if they tend to settle or go to trial. Use the filters to view outcomes for specific types of claims and click through the chart to view the underlying data. On the relationships page, view who your selected party/law firm have worked with before and who their opposing entities have been.
Party Aggregation
Our party aggregation functionality allows you to combine multiple parties to view their metrics and statistics as a whole. This is particularly useful for parent and subsidiary companies.
To do this from a party landing page, click on ‘More’ and select ‘Combine with other parties’. Search for any additional parties you’d like to include in your aggregated party view and click ‘OK’ once you’re happy.
If you have a larger list of parties you wish to combine, there is an easier way to go about this. Navigate to the parties listing page and use the filter to enter a common term, for example ‘Barclays’. To automatically select all the parties in the list, click on the checkbox on the top of the list. You can unselect specific parties that are not relevant to you. To combine these parties, click on the ‘Combine parties’ icon.
All associated outcomes and relationships pages will be reflective of the aggregated view. If you click on the ‘Create report’ icon, the system will generate a report that includes all your selected parties.
Researching claims
To look through all claims on our site, click on ‘Claims’ on the home page or from our menu tab on the top left-hand corner of the screen. Use the filters to narrow your search results, favourite and export data should you wish. Click on any of the claim numbers to open up the full claim landing page. From each claim landing page, you can see more details of the claim (where available), request documents, and create alerts.
Simply click on the green ‘Create alert’ button to track the claim.
