Barrister data
The Solomonic platform has data on over 4,500 barristers who have been involved in litigation activity since 2014.
We’ve recorded all the claims they’ve been involved in, split by where they’ve been instructed by claimant vs defendant, the chambers they’re associated with and the average value of their claims. At a glance, you can view a barrister's judgment win/loss percentage, relationships and judgements they’ve been involved in. Explore notable comments judges have made on barristers and filter these comments by judge, feedback themes and other fields.
Chambers data
Solomonic provides an overview of over 200 chambers, complementing the existing barrister data available. View key information, including who the busiest chambers are in terms of total claims, the total number of barristers and their associated chambers, and the average claim value of each chamber.
Delve deeper through chamber overview pages for claimant vs defendant ratio, the most active courts and sectors represented. See a chambers’ claims and judgments, win/loss percentage and their relationships - including which law firms favour specific chambers or barristers.
Claims
We regularly scrape Ce-file to pick up new claims and activity in the High Court, which we then publish on our platform. We have over 132,000 claims dating back to 2014 available for you to explore and track.
Most of the time, when we pick up new claims, what we typically get from Ce-file is the claim number, the parties involved and the representative for the claimant. As soon as the claim is acknowledged, we are able to access more information from court documents. We purchase claim forms and particulars of claim to start gathering as much information as we can on the claim. We extract information such as claim value, barrister names, topics, legal subject matters (when available) to build insight and accurately tag claims.
See all claims on the platform and apply filters to tailor your search. Track the claims relevant to you by creating alerts and contextualise claims by generating claim reports.
Courts
View a list of all Courts we cover on the platform and see their total number of claims, the mean value of claims within each court, and their settlement tendency - where available. Use the filters to see which topics, legal subject matters and parties are most prevalent in each Court.
Click on any of the court labels to explore different analytical views of your selected court, broken down by Judge performance. You can see:
A judge’s win/loss percentage within your selected court.
The average time to judgment for each judge in your selected court.
The outcome percentage of cases where arguments have not been permitted by a judge as points have not been pleaded.
The frequency where a judge distinguished precedent per judgment.
